Beauty Bible Loves... CHANEL Winter Wonderland Le Vernis

And, just like that, we crave a black pedicure. Well, not completely black – shot with shimmering particles, a litlte like a constellation of tiny glitter particles, as found in CHANEL’s Le Vernis in Sequins, one of the trio of new shades for Christmas that you can see arrayed above.
Normally, we’d be thinking bright sparkling red at this time of year. But there’s something soooooooo chic about these three shades. On fingernails, White Silk is an incredibly flattering, diaphanous neutral that fits with this season’s bare-nail trend. The gold, meanwhile, is pretty darned perfect, too: burnished, lustrous, sort of Art Deco, but not too blingily yellow gold.
We figure that after the inkily black Sequins pedicure, we might just be able to squeeze in a CHANEL-gilded one, before we break up for Christmas.
Because as we’ve always advised women of a certain age, cool polishes are always a good way to show your toes are on fashion’s pulse…
