Chanel No.5 The Calendar

Unquestionably the priciest thing we have EVER featured on beautybible.com, but also: one of the most utterly swoonworthy, for a lover of Chanel No.5. (Or simply a lover of beautifully-designed objets.) It celebrates the 100th anniversary of this iconic fragrance, and is just too, too beautiful for words.

First, some logistics. Should you decide that this is your heart’s desire, you need to know that the stock is replenished on chanel.com each day but sells out really, really fast. A better bet, Chanel tells us, may be to head to their Covent Garden dedicated beauty outpost (or one of their other boutiques), which also carry stock.

The calendar itself is an incredible design: a Chanel No.5 ‘bottle’ that opens up to reveal the treasures within. It’s gorgeous in its own right!

And here’s what you’ll find – a mix of keepsake Chanel items, stickers, lipsticks, fragrance and more. And yes, it starts at (wait for it) – Number 5!!!!!, not No.1! In fact, there are 27 items altogether, so it will keep you going till the festivities are done. Provided you can be patient enough.
