Bobbi Brown Crushed Shine Jelly Stick
Remember how, in the ‘olden days’, you’d get home from work and put on your comfiest clothes? That, of course, was before we were stuck at home slouching around in our leisurewear all the time.
But if you can imagine a lipstick equivalent of slipping into something more comfortable, this is it - a wonderfully quenching, super-softening, hyaluronic-acid-packed lip treat that hovers between a lipstick and a balm. (It also features softening oils of papaya, sweet cherry and apricot.)
We think it’s the perfect product to have on your desk for anytime your lips feel dry (which is much of the time right now), but also to add a swoop of colour when you remember you’ve got a Zoom call starting in on, about seven seconds. (The colour’s so sheer and goof-proof, actually, that you could definitely apply without a mirror.)
There are six shades of Bobbi Brown Crushed Jelly Shine, which come out more transparent and un-scary than they appear in the tube. Our particular fave is one of the darker tones, Cranberry, which just delivers a sort of healthy, slightly bitten-lip shade. (See below for how it appears on a range of lip tones.)
And – shallow as it seems – we’re also in love with the tube. It’s kind of James Bond-ishly sleek and clever, and rather satisfyingly, you have to push the end for it to release. (We were slightly baffled at first, but got there in the end.)
