Beauty Bible Loves... Bamford Geranium Diffuser

Geraniums are suddenly super-fashionable in gardens and in fragrance. Which is awfully good news for those of us who’ve faithfully loved them during the ‘unfashionable’ years.

Bamford’s is a really great geranium range, first launched a few years ago and so loved by one particular friend that we have to send the Bamford Geranium Hand & Body Wash and matching lotion to her in California as a little fragrant reminder of home.

And now there’s this Bamford Geranium Diffuser. Place it on a table in the centre of your room (that’s how all diffusers should be positioned, ideally, to get the maximum waft factor), close your eyes, and imagine you’re in a geranium-filled greenhouse. (It’s a looker, too – unlike many diffusers – and refills are available.)

Founder Carole Bamford is another life-long fan of geraniums (strictly, scented pelargoniums – but it’s just not that snappy, is it?) And she opted for geranium not just for its fragrance, but the balancing, grounding and harmonising action of geranium essential oil.

We now patiently awake the garden world’s rediscovery of begonias – although those, alas, are mostly unscented. Meanwhile? Enjoying this a lot…
