Andrea Garland Folk Art Refillable Lip Balms
We’ve heaped praise on these gorgeous lip balm compacts before – click here for a previous review – but we’re loving this new design, inspired by Russian folk art images.
100% natural (in the case of the clear balms), all-comfy, all-gorgeous, the balms are also available in a 99% natural tinted version – a sort of bitten-lip raspberry shade, or a lighter sheer pink. Ingredients are oils of coconut, meadow foam seed, shea butter, vitamin E beeswax and candelilla wax, lightly infused with essential oils of lime, grapefruit, benzoin and lavender.
But what we also love about the balms is the REALLY GOOD MIRROR. It’s brilliant, not just for applying the balm (which is so goof-proof you don’t need a mirror, frankly), but for checking your make-up (or whether there’s spinach in your teeth…)
Available in a wide range of designs, as well as those featured here, these are highly recommended as a little gift for a friend – or for yourself, as the chapped lip season looms. (We saw snow warnings for late October, though we’re hoping they’re wrong!)
£15 each (you can have them gift-wrapped for an extra £3) – buy here
