Amy's Winter Loves...
In the last of this series, Amy Eason – who brilliantly organises our mammoth Beauty Bible Awards – shares the products which are getting her through long nights, short days and cold weather…
De Mamiel Winter Skin Facial Oil
This little bottle (above) has been heavenly for my dehydrated skin, which is not happy with the constant blasts of central heating and windy, blustery walks. A deeply replenishing oil that feels so decadent and smells so beautiful that I’ve been inspired to create a nightly ritual when using it. I light a candle and take a hot foot soak (as per instruction from my wonderful acupuncturist) whilst doing a mini facial – it is such a treat and really helps me wind down before bed (see more on that below). I press a few drops together between my palms to warm and then deeply inhale the restorative scent before applying to my very grateful face, waking up with a rejuvenated complexion that’s soft and restored.

KLORIS 1000 mg CBD Oil Drops
I have never experienced sleep issues (thankfully) until recently. But with a bad bout of insomnia, I’ve been asking friends for their tips and putting them to the test. Breathwork has helped tremendously and I’ve been devouring this brilliant book, Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art by James Nestor. Some gentle restorative yoga poses before bed along with the nightly facial ritual I mentioned above have also helped but the KLORIS CBD drops have really been a game changer for me, I take a few drops under the tongue an hour or so before bed and they help take the anxiety down a few notches and I’m not panicking about whether I’ll sleep or not. They contain the highest quality European organic grown Cannabis sativa L extracts and of course, no THC (so no unwanted side effects and completely legal) – just pure chilled out calm.

RMS Make Up
I think I may be Rose-Marie Swift’s biggest fangirl. Everything the renowned make up artist has created for her uber-clean make-up line is genius, and my new best friend is the clever concealer Un Cover-Up, which comes in 16 shades spanning most complexion tones. It’s the most brilliant and easiest thing to use for evening out my blotchy skintone and covering blemishes when I don’t want a full face of foundation – in fact I PREFER this to foundation; I love how it doesn’t mask my natural skin but just perfects it. I also adore the Lip2Cheek cream which is a blush/lip stain that is so pretty and enlivening, my cheeks can’t possibly live without it now.

Moo & Yoo Hair Miracle Mask
I feel that ‘miracle’ is the appropriate word here, as that’s exactly the kind of effect this has had on my very sad, missing-my-hairdresser hair. Gloriously buttery, it’s a serious power mask for damaged, coloured, frizzy or dry hair, packed with fairtrade marula oil that my grateful locks drink up and a little does go a long way here. I use it in the shower and give it a comb through while I treat myself to a body scrub (I’m currently loving this one from ESPA) – or sometimes I’ll apply and wrap in a turban whilst I soak in the bath for an extra-deep treatment.
