Q. I have very fine hair, so my scalp shows through my hair. Are there any non-greasy products that will protect my scalp from burning when I am on holiday? I wear scarves/headbands etc. but I would like something more to stop it burning.

A. That sounds potentially painful!  We would recommend Kérastase Soleil Voile Protecteur, which is non-oily and contains a UV filter – but Kérastase don’t specify what level of SPF that is, so don’t just spritz it on and throw caution to the sea breeze…!
