You're first to know about Liz Earle's new charity
As many of you know, we've been friends for decades with Liz Earle and are hugely proud of her achievements. In spring 2013, Liz will be launching her new charity, LiveTwice, which aims to give a 'second chance' to those who want to find a purposeful place in society. Think: skills training, support, and other practical help that will literally give individuals a 'second chance'.
LiveTwice is involved in projects within the UK and the developing countries, and we know it's going to make a big splash - and a big difference to people's lives. (Liz has quietly been working on setting this up for some time now.)
We'll bring you more news in due course, but there's already a way that you can help to raise funds, by buying a silver keepsake 'starfish' Christmas decoration. These limited-edition tree 'jewels' are designed by cult British jewellery brand Geronimo Jones - and gorgeously, 100% of all the proceeds go directly to LiveTwice.
The idea's to launch a new design each Christmas, building up a collection of baubles with that extra feel-good factor. (Though of course there's no truth that she'll be bringing out a 'cleanse and polish' for silverware...)
