You'll adore Dior at Harrods

If you go down to Harrods, from tomorrow, you're sure of an a-Dior-able surprise.

The windows along Knightsbridge have been magically transformed into Dior-world, and inside on the fourth floor is a total 'Dior experience':  a reconstruction of the famous HQ on Avenue Montaigne, displays focusing on everything from the famous Lady Dior handbag - as carried by Lady Di(or), as we like to think of her - to an exploration of the iconic J'Adore fragrance.  (We're loving the idea of a 'rainstorm' of golden Dior bottles, in the windows, too.)

Past looks are brought to life on mannequins - and there's a red-carpet-worthy parade of famous faces (and bodies) who've worn Dior, from Charlize Theron to Emma Watson and Jennifer Lawrence.  (Though we'll lipgloss over her 'wardrobe malfunctions' while wearing some of the world's most glamorous dresses to this year's awards ceremonies, non?)

You can enjoy un petit snack in the Café Dior pop-up restaurant (anything from lobster club sandwiches to Dior cupcakes), and - ooh, la la!  Dior beauty's creative genius Tyen has created some limited edition beauty delights especially for the 'festival':  deep grey Windsor nail lacquer, this baby-soft pink blusher, and a Claridges 48 palette.  Oh, and did we say there's a fragrant new edition to the Collection Privée perfumes - Gris Montaigne...?

We may just take up residence.
