Over the past few months, the Beauty Bible team has been on the receiving end of an avalanche of summer-focused products, as we compiled YOU Magazine's annual Summer Sun Special. Blissful on bare skin to wake up you and your complexion. We love it, as do models Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Daisy Lowe.

SPFS FOR LIPS

Lanolips Lip Ointment with Colour SPF15/£7.99 for 12.5g, in five tints

These sheer, super-moisturising, all-natural tinted balms are the bees’ knees for summer lips; our favourite shades are Rose or slightly deeper Rhubarb.

L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime Tinted Lip Balm SPF25/£12 for 4g

A really nourishing balm, in natural and three rosy shades, based on Perfecting Peony Complex, L’Occitane’s new active ingredient; pretty perfect for bare faces in the summer.

WATERPROOF MASCARA

Bobbi Brown Intensifying Long-Wear Mascara/£19.50

This volumising but non-clumping mascara claims to stand up to the elements for up to 16 hours and it is pretty well the only one that doesn't end up giving Sarah panda eyes.
