Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: RIMMEL London Wonder’Bond Bonding Serum Mascara
Can we just have a grammatical rant before we tell you how fabulous everything ELSE is about this mascara? Wonder’Bond. On what planet is that a word…? (Or maybe two words?) But no doubt at the marketing meeting where someone came up with this ridiculously punctuated product name, there was a round of applause around the board table, and an extra plate of biscuits appeared from the wings as if by magic.
However, while it may be a terrible name, it’s a GREAT mascara. We know mascaras to be highly personal, but we can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t get on with this grippy wand – tapered to access even the tiniest lashes – and nourishing, serum-style formulation. (It’s quite ‘wet’, which is how we like our mascaras.)
We’re told that it contains a ‘Biotin Bonding Complex’, delivering up to 350% more volume, and inspired by hair bonding products. Well, w'e’re definitely NOT not convinced by the ‘350% more volume’ claim, but lashes look a bit fatter, yes, as well as silky, and feel in tip-top condition when you remove this later.
Impressively, there’s nary a flake, a speck, a smudge from the formula, once in place – so whether it’s ‘bonded’ with lashes, or for some other reason, performance is incredibly impressive.
Better still? It’s just £11.99, proving yet again what amazing make-up bargains there are to be had on the high street.
In other words, in Beauty Bible’s view, RIMMEL London Wonder’Bond Bonding Serum Mascara is a mere apostrophe short of perfection…
