Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Grace & Stella Zit Happens Hydrocolloidal Pimple Patches

We’re lucky enough to get to try a wide spectrum of beauty products, but there are just some that we can’t put through their paces. Sarah long ago grew out of her spotty phase (and Jo considers it a miracle that she never suffered) – so when we were given Grace & Stella Zit Happens Hydrocolloidal Pimple Patches, we offered them to a beloved family member, Lily, who’d had some particularly painful breakouts, recently.

We could see they were fun, with their coloured shapes. And, reading the ingredients list, with trusted blemish-busters like salicylic acid and tea tree, the patches looked promising. But we weren’t prepared, however, for the fact that Lily would be properly WOWED. (Which in turn makes us properly happy.)

Here’s her testimonial…

‘I’ve suffered with hormonal and cystic acne since I was a teen (I’m now 37). I’ve tried everything, from doctor-prescribed steroid creams to natural herbs and everything in-between. I’ve never found a remedy.

I had seen zit patches advertised before but I was sceptical to try because my acne issues were so chronic, and my previous experience of spot treatments was that they just dried out my skin without reducing pimples.

Grace & Stella Zit Happens patches, though, have been a fantastic find. Applied to the spot and worn overnight, they’ve managed to reduce swelling and redness before a spot has a chance to get out of hand. I still have get spots, and the odd one will turn boil-like and ugly, but overall the zit patches have massively reduced my acne and evened out my complexion.

They’ve helped with my self-confidence and left me feeling glow-ey. The only downside is I that get through a pack in just a few days – but for someone with an “average” amount of spots, I can see these patches lasting and eliminating spots completely.

I continued to buy (a couple of packs a week) since I first tried them. Interestingly, my success with these led me to try a cheaper alternative – but all that happened was that they massively dried out my skin, without tackling the zits. So, I reckon the Grace & Stella patches are indeed worth every penny

A great product that has helped my skin and self-esteem.’

And really, who can ask for more than that?
