Want to learn make-up…?
We've featured Davinia Fermi (below) on Beauty Bible before: she's an amazing make-up artist who's done our faces in the past, and made us look our very, very best. She's also a great teacher - and since we very often get enquiries from readers who want to learn professional make-up skills with a view to making a career, we're thrilled to share the news that Davinia has now opened a London location (in addition to Bournemouth and Brighton), at The Worx, in Fulham. The range of courses is really outstanding. (Though they really are for pros, or would-be pros, at the moment.) Think: a five-day 'foundation course' in Fashion Make-up. A Fashion, Media and TV Makeup and Hair course (also five days). Bridal Elite: a two-week training course. To download the prospectus, click here for the relevant page on Davinia's DFMA site. (But do check out the testimonials while you're there; they tell you more than we possibly can.)
There's a real shortage, we know, of high quality independent make-up artist training in London. So we're just pleased to be able to point tomorrow's Bobbi Browns and Barbara Dalys in an exciting new direction. (And we look forward to you whisking your brushes across our faces, some day…!)
