More eightysomething wisdom from the glorious Daphne Selfe, on how to stay slender and healthy: 'Cook from scratch and eat properly; never eat ready meals. And drink lots and lots of water. Breakfast is a bowl of cereal, fruit and yoghurt, then I have a little snack at 11 a.m. At 1 p.m. I have a proper meal - a big salad with meat, fish or chicken. Then in the afternoon I have a cup of tea and possibly a piece of cake. I don't eat much sugar, or drink much alcohol - just the odd drop of Champagne.'
