The hot-ticket beauty event of the year...
... Are you going? (Or are you going to miss out...?) Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October mark a new 'landmark' in the calendar of gorgeousness, with YOU Magazine bringing their beauty and fragrance pages alive for one glamorous weekend...
In partnership with Estée Lauder - who have an incredible portfolio of brands, from Clinique to Bobbi Brown, via Smashbox, Darphin, Aveda, Crème de la Mer, Bumble and bumble, Origins (and of course Estée Lauder itself) - The YOU Big Beauty Weekend is a festival of talks, treatments, makeovers - and the opportunity to explore everything to do with beauty, at your leisure.
You can visit the YOU Make-up Studio for masterclasses from Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Smashbox and Estée Lauder, or tackle your skin woes at the YOU Skincare Destination.
Speakers include Liz Hurley, Pixiewoo, Florrie White, among others. Our friend and motivational speaker, Sharron Lowe, will be on hand to offer ‘mind makeovers', while our own Jo Fairley will be there with her Co-Founder of The Perfume Society, Lorna McKay, offering fragrance consultations, designed to steer you to a new scent love for autumn 2015 – and answering any of your perfume-related questions.
Within the packed programme of talks, Jo will also (during each morning and afternoon session) be interviewing Trudi Loren – the creative driving force behind fragrances from Clinique and Michael Kors, among others – whose experience knowledge of scent is encyclopedic. Trudi will be talking about the process of bringing a fragrance from idea to bottle – and it’s a rare opportunity to meet a dynamic woman right at the heart of perfume creativity.
There are refreshments, mini-pampering sessions and more, and the event is being hosted at Victoria House, in London’s Bloomsbury.
Standard entry is £35 (and you’ll leave with an Estée Lauder complimentary gift with a retail value of over £45). VIP entry enables you to book treatments in advance, enjoy a chauffeur-driven car to and from the event courtesy of BMW (from the Athenaeum Hotel) – and at this ticket level, your going-home gift will be worth over £90 at retail.
