Taylor's 32 Toothpastes

Nothing like freshening up your toothcare regime with something new in the toothpaste department. So we thought we'd tell you about a new 'squeeze' on the toothpaste front: Taylor's 32, offering formulas which have been created (with dentists) to avoid some of the 'nasties' in mainstream toothpastes which can cause irritation, or which perhaps you might not want to swallow. (Because of course a little toothpaste is always swallowed, no matter how well you rinse.)

The Taylor's 32 range is free from SLS and artificial preservatives, sweeteners and harsh abrasives; instead, it uses calcium carbonate (chalk) and bicarbonate of soda, with silica as a polishing agent. (It does, however, contain fluoride – so it's up to you to decide whether you want to use a fluoride toothpaste or not.)

Personally we've been enjoying all three flavours (one carried in a spongebag, one for the office, one for home): Classic Mint, Grapefruit & Mint and Fennel & Mint – all zingily fresh (without being overly strongly-flavoured). Taylor's 32 also offer bamboo toothbrushes you might want to check out, too. (And can we just add that we rather like the soft-touch tubes, too...?)

Every time we start a new toothpaste, we actually like to revisit the way we clean our teeth. It's so easy to do it on auto-pilot – but simply switching toothpaste can make you think about being that bit more diligent again. Used with a Sonicare toothpaste, we're getting great results from this – that bit brighter, that bit whiter.

And that's got to put a smile on anyone's face.
