Studio 10 Liquid Foil I-Radiance
The matte make-up thing is all very well – if you’re young and flawless. But a more mature skin actually needs little flashes of ‘light’ to bring it alive. Not full-on Donna Summer – but a touch here and there to bring luminosity to the face. Too-matte = too-drab, at a certain point.
It’s worth experimenting in front of a mirror to see where a judicious dab – and we mean, the merest dab – of shimmer works best for you. Usually, it’s a touch on the brow-bone, and perhaps on the inner corner of the eyelid, or even the centre.
We’ve just discovered a great new product to use for this. We’ve raved about Studio 10 repeatedly in the past for their ‘pro-age’ make-up products specifically created for more mature faces. Now they’ve created this liquid eyeshadow. Add a touch with the doe-foot applicator – there’s a mink shade which blends to a light bronze, and a more gold-y tone. The formula’s super smooth and impressively long-lasting. (Much longer-lasting than a powder shadow that you might use to the same effect.)
And trust us: you’ll be good to glow.
