Nails.INC 45 Second Top Coat

There are no doubt women out there who are managing to complete a salon-worthy manicure, in lockdown. Well, good on you!

But not us. It feels like the days whizz by, and by evening we’re knackered (notwithstanding the TLC we’re giving ourselves).

For now, Nails.INC 45 Second Top Coat has become a paint-and-go quick fix that we’re using directly on bare nails, as a one-coat-wonder. (Not least because we scrub our fingernails – which we’re keeping short, for hygiene – when coming in from outside. And we want to check we haven’t missed any dirt.)

It really does set hard in 45 seconds, and is proving very protective of our fingernails. It offers a tough finish that withstands a lot of the household tasks we’re having to spend time on. It’s definitely not DESIGNED for this task – and we were worried it would dry them out, but it doesn’t. Nails look groomed, shiny – and are much stronger than if we’d left them naked.

We look forward, one day, to using this as the finishing touch to a beautiful, glossy, brightly colourful manicure – but not yet. For now? A bit of a lifesaver. Or at least, a nail-saver.
