SenSpa Thai Rituals range

Something to throw in your shopping trolley along with the frozen peas and the Pinot Noir (or maybe the Pad Thai noodles) when you’re wheeling it through the aisle of Waitrose, this. (Though SenSpa is also available on-line, of course, at waitrose.com as well as their own senspa.co.uk website.) We’re longstanding fans of this truly excellent all-natural range, which was created for and by a New Forest spa – but we’re definitely very taken with this fragrant new addition to the line-up: a whisk-you-to-a-Thai-luxury-spa offering which is a total treat for the senses.

The Moisture Heaven Body Wash features nurturing frangipani extract and organic hibiscus flower extract: softly-lathering, non-drying. The Float Away Bath Soak blends bamboo shoot and frangipani, which also features in the Daily Escape Hand Wash.

But our favourite has to be the Skin Renewal Body Polish, which really attacks rough and touch skin with pumice granules – making this something for the shower rather than the bath, we recommend. (Gritty bottoms just aren’t our thing.) It leave skin nourished, though, with shea butter and coconut.

The scent – always so, so important, for us – is completely fab: exotic jasmine and sunshine-esque neroli.

Much, much sexier than your frozen peas, we’d say.
