Revlon Ultimate All-in-One Mascara

Trouble choosing a mascara? Can’t decide between volumising, lengthening, fattening, thickening, defining...? (And all the other possible permutations.) Well, try this.

Revlon set out to ‘simplify’ mascaras with Revlon Ultimate All-in-One Mascara – and it certainly ticks a lot of boxes, for us. First, the formulation, which is deep, darkest black, and is ‘wet’ enough when applying to coat the lashes beautifully.

More than that, though, we love the oval-shaped brush: teeny enough to access every last lash, grippy enough to grab them – and nicely curling, too. (Apparently it has a ‘hollow core’, which acts as a reservoir for the mascara formula.)

Ironically, while promising to ‘simplify’ mascaras, Revlon are actually offering five within this collection – to lengthen, volumise, add volume AND length, or define. (And some of them have waterproof options.) Which sort of puts us back to square one, decision-wise!

So we say: look for the one with the red lid. That’ll do nicely, whatever your lash issues.
