Revlon Colorstay Crème Eye Shadow

We love a little dot of shimmer on the brow and the inner lid to make eyes look wide-awake. Trouble is, glimmer powder eyeshadows tend to disappear by mid-afternoon. We’ve switched, then, to Colorstay Crème Eye Shadow in pale, shimmering cream Crème Brulée.

There are six long-wearing shades, including Praline, Caramel, Chocolate, Blackcurrant and Licorice (the names are pretty indicative of what’s in the pot), with each offering a teeny applicator tucked into the lid. All great for a dab of shimmer, but if you’re using one of the darker tones for eye-shading, do avoid the crease of the eye if you’ve got so much as a single line or wrinkle there – or it’ll draw attention to that.

Thanks to strong, flexible polymers in the formulation, a blendable dab stays put all day long, is allegedly waterproof (check in with us again once the English Channel’s warm enough to swim in again) – and indeed, apparently lasts up to 24 hours.

Since we’ve never been known to fall into bed with make-up on, Team Beauty Bible really can’t confirm that, either – but suffice to say we rate its powers of endurance highly.
