We’re having a Beauty Bible baby!

Well, to be strictly accurate, lovely Lily Gutierrez – who’s been helping at Beauty Bible on and off since 2001 or so – is having her second child, and we couldn’t be happier.

And – just in time for her baby shower – Green People has launched this Newborn Collection, showcasing products created with their deep understanding of fragile, sensitive, tender skins. (This is a range we often point readers suffering from sundry skin reactions in the direction of.)

It features a trio of products for babies – Calming Nappy Cream, ultra-gentle Baby Wash & Shampoo, and Nurturing Baby Oil, which is fantastic for baby massage.

There’s also a product ostensibly for mothers – Soothing Nipple Balm – but which is also for babies, really, since inevitably they swallow and lick some of the product that’s soothing and healing their mother’s body. We are frankly horrified to look at some of the ingredients in many nipple balms – petrochemicals for baby, anyone? – but of course, being Green People, this is all-natural.

A lovely gift for a new mum. And us? We can’t wait to meet the newest member of the team.
