Odilyque 3 in 1 Maca Mask

There’s a real trend right now for making your own beauty products. This is a half-way house, from a British natural pioneer brand: a dry powder packed with skin-boosting ingredients that you can customise in one of two ways.

Soil Association-certified organic and based on gently exfoliating green and white clays, Fairtrade sugar cane and organic oats, it comes as a dry powder. Either mix it with water – best for problem and acne-prone skins, as it’ll set on the skin – or, in the case of our drier complexions, with yoghurt. We also added a spoonful of honey, too, which made for a great texture and a more moisturising effect.

Maca – which has a buzz around it right now – is replenishing and rich in amino acids, while baobab and vitamin C also feature for a skin-brightening effect.

And this really does deliver that: after 10-15 mintues, cleanse away the mask with a hot washcloth – and skin will appear more vibrant and glow-y.

It’s the skincare equivalent of adding superfood powders to your smoothie – and we like to do that, too.
