Neutrogena Hydro Boost
Just as we're entering the time of trans-seasonal clothing, so this is the time for some trans-seasonal skincare. And it doesn't come much more pleasurable to use than this affordable line-up. So if your post-holiday skin needs a darned good slurp of moisture, Neutrogena Hydro Boost – as the name suggests – is your go-to.
Oil-free but packed with moisture, the innovative range contains something called a 'Hyaluronic Gel Matrix' – with hyaluronic acid, of course, able to absorb up to 1000 times its weight in water, keeping skin moist and plumped up.
There are quite a few products: Cleansing Facial Wipes (for emergencies, as we always say – though these do have a really lovely texture). Two actual cleansers: a Hydro Boost Water Gel Cleanser, for those who like more of a facial wash, and a Gelée Milk Cleanser which is... Well, that's exactly what it is, actually. A milkier cleanser, but with a truly 'bouncy' texture. (There's no need to rinse this one, and it can be used on eyes and lips.)
Follow (or follow your usual cleanser) with the fab Hydro Boost Gel Cream Moisturiser – although oil-free, it's ideal for ultra-dry skins, helping to 'lock in' moisture. It's completely unscented; Neutrogena work closely with dermatologists and we've always found their range great for sensitive skins. Personally, we'd like Neutrogena to bring out a body version of this product as fast as possible.)
Prices are fantastically reasonable. The perfect-for-now 'splashes' for skin – which don't require excessive splashing out, on your part.
