Neal's Yard Remedies Winter Woodland Hand Duo

This was one of the treats of Christmas; received as a gift from Neal’s Yard just when the family get-together was nixed, and we were in need of a little cheerer-upper.

How can a hand duo achieve that? It’s not going to make up for being with much-missed loved ones, of course. But it’s all about the small pleasures, right now – and these products uplift, with every pump. 

Renowned for their lovely handcare (Neal’s Yard Remedies are renowned for lots of things, of course, but the hand products have always been FAB), the products feature the hand-nurturing ingredients that help combat centrally-heated, hand-sanitiser-related dryness, including olive, avocado and sweet almond oils. But but it’s the scent which we're crazy for, with its truly woodland walk-ish scent of cypress, tree resins, frankincense, basil and vetiver. Forest-y. Grounding. Yet cocooning, too.

We definitely need hand-washing and moisturising to be a pleasure rather than a chore, these days – and these truly make it so.

What we would say is: get your skates on, if you want to experience them for yourself. They’ve sold out on Neal’s Yard’s own site – though we heartily recommend they bring them back next year. (When we sincerely hope we will be permitted to hug again.)
