Fab Find of the Week: L’Occitane + Rifle Pink Heart Travel Pouch

LOCCITANE_RIFLE_POUCH.jpg

We pounced on this adorable pink pouch when we spotted it by the counter at the gorgeous L’Occitane store in Regent Street. (It’s the Piccadilly Circus end by the way, which isn’t what Google maps tell you...)

Stuffed inside you’ll find five delicious travel size goodies – soap, shampoo, shower oil, plus hand and body creams, in different signature L’Occitane scents including rose and almond.

One of the joys of L’Occitane for us currently is the charmingly colourful packaging, inspired by the gardens of Provence. We’re big fans of Florida-based Rifle Paper Co., who created this bag and many other designs for L’Occitane. The stationery and lifestyle brand was started by Anna and Nathan Bond, and as Anna observes, ‘Occitane shares the same sense of small pleasures as we do.’ (And with all the chaos around just now we need small pleasures.)

Containing a Rose Perfumed Soap, hand cream, aromatherapy-powered shampoo, classic Almond Shower Oil and the matching Almond Milk Concentrate, the pouch is a charming little present for Valentine’s Day, or any time actually.  Pretty well guaranteed to provoke purrs of pleasure (plus a spate of alliteration for some reason…)

It retails at just £10 if you spend £35 in L’Occitane – which is as easy as spooning up ice cream we find, since it’s one of our most favourite places to browse and shop. You can buy the purse on its own for a good value £20.
