A little feel-good film from L'Occitane for you, this teatime

Nobody could deny that the beauty world is changing, with its increasing emphasis on diversity, recycling, pollution, refills and more.

But L’Occitane could be excused a little smugness, here. Because they’ve been thinking about these things for a l-o-n-g time, as this little movie shows. (Having met founder Olivier Baussan ourselves on several occasions, we can tell you: he’s a greenie from way back. From the start, customers were invited to bring empties back for refilling, and he has always worked with local artisans committed to a sustainable future.

Starring ‘Queen of Thrift’ Bay Garnett, Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) ambassador Jon Paul, Jay Jay (above – women’s empowerment activist) and biodiversity enthusiast Evon, L’Occitane’s film highlights L’Occitane’s six commitments: supporting producers, reducing waste, reducing waste, respecting biodiversity, caring for sight and celebrating craftsmanship.

Watch it below. And with its yellow theme, think of this short film as a ray of sunshine in your afternoon.
