Liz Earle Superskin Eye Cream

Not to be confused with the former Lip & Eye treatment, this is a brandnew product and a very welcome addition to the Liz Earle Superskin line-up –which regular readers know is a longstanding favourite of ours. Active ingredients include extracts of alfalfa (de-puffing), paracress (targeting fine lines and wrinkles), pomegranate and green tea (for treatment of dark circles). But for anything to work on the fragile eyezone, you’ve got to want to use it – and here Superskin Eye Cream really scores: it’s slightly cooling and instantly soothing, we’re finding.

A little goes a long, long way: pump a tiny amount onto the fingertip, usea special ‘tapping’ technique to apply to the eye area (which is effective in itself for dislodging fluid).

Another advantage is that it sinks in fast, so it won’t ‘travel’ into the eyes (a problem with some rich creams), something that exacerbates puffiness. Another Beauty Bible Award-winner, we predict. But meanwhile, it’s got our vote.
