Lancôme Long Time No Shine
A good translucent powder comes into its own during the party season. (A good translucent powder is a godsend for the shiny of skin at any time, actually, but whenever we want to ensure our make-up lasts longer, it’s a godsend.)
Lancôme Long Time No Shine has one of the finest, airiest textures of any we’ve ever tried. It’s a loose powder, though – you really don’t want to slip this into your make-up bag for on-the-go touch-ups, but it’s perfect for doing your face before you head for the door. It’s mattifying – but doesn’t leave skin looking flat, and features clever pigments work to blur imperfections.
There are two tones, encouragingly – Translucent and Deep, which works on much darker skintones. (Can’t tell you how pleased we are that these are increasingly being catered to by big beauty brands.)
Our mantelpieces are on standby for those stiff invites. (Fingers crossed!) And thanks to this, we’re ready to get all made up with someplace to go.
