Kinn Body & Home
It certainly isn’t every day that an entire stylish, lovely-to-use, Soil Association-certified ‘clean beauty’ range lands on our desks. No, wait. Not just our desk: our kitchen countertops, too – because alongside the KINN bath and body products comes a cleaning range that has swept aside all others, rendering our cleaning kit really rather chic.
The creation of Marie Lavabre and Sophie Lavabre-Burrow, KINN apparently uses recipes handed down from Marie’s California-based uncle, who was a pioneer in creating organic blends.
Both the skin and home collections kick off with a capsule collection of four products – and we were instantly hooked on the signature skincare blend of ylang ylang, tangeringe and lavender.
Bath Oil, Body Oil, Body Lotion, Body Wash are all really fab – nourishing, yet (in the case of the body lotion and oil), not unctuous or requiring laborious massage before it absorbs, which is the downside of many natural products. (We’d like a hand cream next, please, Team KINN). The 100 ml Body Lotion’s gone straight into Jo’s hand luggage for a trip away.
KINN’s philosophy is that clean living ‘shouldn’t stop with your skincare’, though – hence the eco-friendly cleaning range. Washing Up Liquid, Kitchen Cleaner (in a gun), Floor Wash and Bathroom Cleaner are not only biodegradeable but smell fab. Truly, this has pimped our cleaning experience no end! What’s more, the cleaning produccts are super-affordable, starting at just £3.50 for 500 ml Washing Up Liquid.
What a fabulous, five-star debut.
