We've always had a bit of a love affair going on with Estée Lauder. The late Evelyn Lauder was a role model to us, and as for Estée herself...? One of Jo's proudest journalistic moments was interviewing her at The Plaza Hotel's Palm Court, in New York, where a whisper went round the room like a Mexican wave: 'Estée Lauder, Estée Lauder, Estée Lauder...' And we'll certainly be keeping an eye on The Estée Edit: a new zone on their website with interesting beauty-related features, which this month include an interview with healthy food brand Qnola's 21-year-old founder Danielle Copperman featuring healthy eating recipes, a video about organising your make-up kit, an interview with new Estée Lauder 'face' (and social media star) Kendall Jenner about her favourite 'Noir Necessities' (which resonated with Jo since she wears almost top-to-toe black for at least half the year), and a run-down of seasonal beauty trends - among other stories.
