Huzzah!

Australians ‘get’ sun protection. So we’re delighted to say g’day to Aussie brand Jurlique’s SPF50, just in time for British summer.

Now, in reality, there’s very little incremental increase in sun protection, above an SPF30. But you know what? We still go for higher numbers ourselves, on our faces, when there’s something we enjoy using.

This certainly ticks that box: oil-free, lightweight – their description is that it ‘syncs’ with skin, which nails it, basically. It defends strongly against ageing UVA (that’s what those plus signs indicate) – four stars are the highest ranking possible.

Add to that the fact that it’s nicely hydrating, is good as a primer (with a satin-y finish), features antioxidant botanicals, and you’ve a useful weapon against sun damage to face, neck and décolletage (which are the bits we really care about).

As ever, summer could go either way – but we’ll be slathering this on every day, with fingers crossed. (If you get our drift.)
