Garnier Micellar Cleansing Gel

Surely everyone by now has got their head around micellar water cleansers. They're great – but some people (including, sometimes, us) are left longing for a more squeaky-clean feel, as if swiping away doesn't quite do the trick. (Even though technically it does. Creatures of habit, us.) If you prefer the feel of water on your face – but love the way micellar cleansers almost 'magnetise' every last molecule of grime and dirt – then this is the solution: a gentle gel cleanser which emulsifies with water, and can be swooshed away taking the very last atoms of pollution and make-up with it. (We like it even better with the trusty muslin cloth.)

Garnier promised us that it was safe for eyes – and indeed, we've been trying it with no 'sting factor' whatsoever, finding it efficient at removing stubborn mascara and shadows.

Great for combination skins and oily complexions – though drier ones may need to slather on the moisture PDQ. But generally, pretty wowzer.
