Beauty Bible Christmas Gift Guide 2024: £10 to £25

For friends, (favourite) colleagues, teachers, beloved nieces (and aunties, if you’re lucky enough still to have them). We’ve found feel-good pressies offering what we consider to be great value, always from brands that we admire and use ourselves.

Almost all of these are actually under £20; beauty brands have read the room brilliantly this year, offering some really lovely stuff at more accessible prices than we’ve seen for many a festive season.

Bobbi Brown Mini Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick Duo

Two dinky sizes of our own all-time fave eyeshadow sticks – easy to blend with a finger (just smoosh and go), absolutely budgeproof when in place, and you can create an effortless eye look with these two shades, both bestsellers: matte Taupe and gleaming Moonstone. (There’s apparently a £17 saving on these.)

Susanne Kaufmann Glow Mask Stocking Filler and Bath for the Senses Stocking Filler

Techically a ‘stocking filler’ but as we commented in Tuesday’s curation of those, we personally reckon there should be a ceiling of a tenner on those. Whatever, this is a chance to introduce someone to another favourite luxury naturals brand, which normally comes with a much higher price tag. They’re not huge sizes – the Bath for the Senses is 30ml, the Glow Mask is 15ml – but these are a total treat; we have always loved Bath for the Senses, with its scent of lavender, patchouli and ylang ylang, and especially the sprig of hand-picked Austrian rosemary, tucked inside every bottle. (Tip: clean out the packaging thoroughly afterwards, and these can be repurposed to decant other fave products for travel.)

Bamford B Silent Pillow Mist

Bamford is a go-to brand for us when shopping for friends who lean towards natural and organic, but like a side-order of luxury with that. Inside this limited edition mistletoe-adorned box (which can be used as a tree decoration) is their excellent B Silent Night-Time Pillow Mist, to spritz linen with a sleep-beckoning blend of frankincense, lavender and marjoram.

St Tropez Luxe Golden Glow Set

For the friend/sister/daughter who likes to get her glow on, two goof-proof offerings from tan experts St Tropez, showcasing super-smooth Luxe Body Serum and Luxe Tan Tonic Glow Drops for a customisable facial tan (you add two to six drops to moisturiser or serum; two are enough to take the edge off winter pallor). There’s a mitt for applying the serum, too – and yes, it really DOES make a difference.

Floral Street Petal Soft Hand Cream Duo

From British fragrance brand Floral Street, whose contemporary, flower-powered scents evoke ‘bunches, not bouquets’, this tree gift-style set showcases two little handbag-friendly aluminium pots of nourishing cream, in softly floral Wonderland Peony and creamy, dreamy Wild Vanilla Orchid, to leave skin velvety as well as fragrant with their blend of shea butter, avocado and macadamia seed oil.

Caroline Gardner Pink Dotty Mini Cube Cosmetic Bag

We are so enjoying the larger, double-sectioned bag in this design – there’s something about the wipe-clean material that is very pleasing. So, here’s a downsized version for those daily essentials, splashed with the same design. (Appropriately, we’re a little bit dotty about it.)

Peep Club Festive Eye Rescue Lidstick and Festive Coconut Eye Balm

Bestsellers from a range that specifically targets eye woes (dark circles, fine lines, tired appearance), these have been dressed up as limited editions for Christmas in pretty, seasonal mint green packaging, dusted with snowflakes. Glide-on Peep Club Festive Eye Rescue Lidstick specifically soothes dry, irritated skin with its blend of oat ceramides, evening primrose and borage oils, brightening with mega-antioxidant kakadu plum. The Beauty Bible Award-winning Coconut Eye Balm (in its DARLING little pot!) doubles as an eye make-up cleanser that even removes waterproof mascara, or as a treatment to reduce puffiness, thanks to coffee and chamomile extracts.

Indu Pop of Pink Makeup Duo Set and Perfect Peach Makeup Duo Set

Indu positions itself as a brand for younger beauty-hounds, but you know what? We love it, too. These duos feature a Mirror Glaze Lip Gloss (we wrote about those here) and Cheeky Smile blusher, in either a pink pair (suitable for cooler skintones), or peach (for warmer complexions) – just so easy to apply with a finger for an instant cheek-perkifying pop of colour. If you do give these to teens, you’ll get extra cool points. The price tag offers a £6 saving on usual prices, NB

Nobody’s Child Small Washbag Gift Set

As big fans of Nobody’s Child’s thoughtfully produced clothing, we couldn’t be happier that they’ve now created a bath and body range (quite a lot of it exclusive to Boots), packaged in keepsake fabric bags that are very on-brand – in this case, created from sprigged organic cotton. The scents and textures of the products are lovely, meanwhile – in this gift set, a shea butter lip balm and a citrus-scented hand cream, blending jojoba and baobab oils. (Don’t be confused by the name ‘Iris’: that doesn’t reference the fragrance, but the rainbow goddess who’s a heavenly sign of love and hope; this whole range is inspired by ancient Greek goddesses. One for the goddess/es in your life, then…
