C. Atherley pops up in Chelsea!

Maybe you’re going to the Chelsea Flower Show.

Maybe, like us, you’re NOT going to the Chelsea Flower Show, but will be hanging around its fringes, taking in Belgravia in Bloom and Chelsea in Bloom, where there are lots of floriferous displays entirely for free, and quite the party atmosphere on what have, for the past couple of days, been quite soggy pavements. At Edward Bulmer Paints, for instance, there is a pop-up for Thyme (creators of the bodycare-and-breathing brand, Bertioli), along with a very lustworthy collection of ‘The Cutting Garden’ fabrics, which has us dreaming of doing some reuphostery.

And we heartily recommend while you’re in the area popping along to the Chelsea Barracks x House & Garden Spring Fair, where a little village of garden sheds has been taken over by some great interiors and lifestyle brands, including C. Atherley – the patron saint of geraniums – showcasing all their glorious bath and body treats. Such a beautifully styled display – and of course, we’d expect nothing less of Cath Kidston.

It’s open 11-7 each day through to 25th May – and do wander among the Chelsea Barracks development while you’re there. It’s extraordinary to think that for 150 years, this area of London was completely closed off by the Army!

So much to see, away from the crowds at the Flower Show itself…
