Here’s a range for the ‘no make-up make-up’ fan. We don’t count ourselves among that cohort – we need a little extra help – but this is a brilliant ‘starter’ range for someone who’s just getting into make-up, or who feels that anything more than the sheerest coverage looks like a mask.

The skincare-meets-make-up hybrid line actually features five products, three of which have particularly impressed us (and the young women in our circle who also road-tested them).

First up, The Bare Look Tint/£27 for 30ml, offering light-to-medium coverage and a great span of shades – 20 in all. It’s got brightening mallow, plus hydrating hyaluronic acid, a creamy, light-as-a-feather water-gel texture which honestly deliver the merest veil of colour.

Next – and we’re liking this ourselves – The Glow In Balm/£27 for 40ml. This is hydrating and luminising, which is just great under foundation that’s just that little bit too matte and flat for the light conditions that day. (It was a boon at the start of autumn, when transitioning to stronger foundation coverage.)

But then, at the opposite end of the matte-v-glow spectrum, there is The Blotting Lotion/£27 for 25ml. This is brilliant, by contrast, if your current foundation is a tad glow-y, because it works as a mattifier, taking the shine right down.

We’re LOVING the control that these give, over existing products – been fun to play with different bases, and see how they morph. And our advice is that although the advertising’s all very Gen Z, don’t be put off into thinking this range isn’t for you…
