Fab Find of The Week: L'OCCITANE Lavender CBD collection
Full moon been disturbing your sleep? Experiencing a little post-winter-hols jet-lag? Just want to feel a little more chilled…? We’d like to introduce you to a new collection from L’Occitane which has rather blown our (bed)socks off.
First off: the relaxing lavender scent. If you love lavender, you’ll ADORE this quartet of products, which harness the high-altitude Provençal lavender for which L’Occitane are famed, the scent softened with a touch of amber.
Second, it’s the first collection for the brand which offers the benefits of CBD isolate, derived from hemp (but without the psychoactive bits, of course). Whichever ingredient is working its magic – or maybe it’s a synergy of both – we’ve been finding them very effective.
The four products are as follows…
Relaxing Shower Gel/£17 for 250ml. Sponge onto skin while enjoying a pre-bedtime bath or shower, and that lavender scent really lingers.
Relaxing Massage Oil/£33 for 100ml. Richly nourishing with base oils of sweet almond, castor and sunflower.
Relaxing Hand & Foot Cream/£18 for 50ml. We appreciate it when brands don’t pretend that you need a different cream for hands and feet – because really, you don’t. This does double-duty, and is great massaged in last thing at night; you’ll get proper wafts from your hands.
Relaxing Bi-Phase Body Milk/£26 for 250ml. The absolute winner in this collection, as far as we’re concerned. This is a clever formula which works like a bi-phase eye make-up remover, in that it’s shaken spritzing onto skin. For Jo, who recently grabbed some welcome winter sun, this light-yet-moisturising milk has performed brilliantly at preventing post-holiday skin from drying out: so easy to apply, and when used before bedtime, a brilliant wind-down aid.
We are definitely feeling the lavender love, here…
