Fab Find of the Week: Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream x Just Like Us

Take one great, classic product. Forge a partnership with a leading LGBT+ youth charity – Just Like Us – and what you have is this fab, cheering special edition of Ultra Facial Cream.

Just launched, this limited edition packs the usual moisturising punch – a real Hall of Fame product, this, with its lashings of olive-derived squalene, glycerine and avocado/sweet almond oils, among other skin-quenching ingredients. (Not greasy, though. Not a bit of it.) 

Although it’s suitable for all skintypes, we often recommend it for dry and sensitive complexions: Kiehl’s promise that it balances skin’s hydration levels with 2.3 times more moisture.

What’s notable about this, though, is Kiehl’s pledge of £20,000 to Just Like Us. Each jar will provide the resources for Just Like Us to offer one talk in a school or college championing LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion to an average of 70-80 students, and the overall donation will provide two volunteer hubs to recruit, train and support 30 new ambassadors for this important work. This is a charity which makes a little go a long way.

We very much like it when brands support what can sometimes be seen as more ‘difficult’ causes, challenging the status quo and setting an example in what is, we know, a very generous industry.

So well done, Kiehl’s, for your efforts to make the world a better place, jar by jar.
