Fact: this is one of the nicest and most innovative presents which has crossed our desk (not to mention scented our office) in a long, long time. It looks just like a gorgeous scented candle.

It smells just like a gorgeous scented candle. (In our case, Bluebell, though as you'll see here it also comes in Violet & Sweet Pea, plus Wisteria & Orange Blossom, Rose, Saffron & Vetiver, or Pomegranate & Mint. We're told there'll also be a limited edition in a Christmassy scent.)

However, after a couple of hours, something really different happens: a little 'surprise' appears in the wax – in the form of a silver-wrapped item of simple and stylish costume jewellery. There are over 100 different items in all – in silver, silver and gold plate, or set with semi-precious stones, and including rings, necklaces, bracelets and cool charms. (There's no predicting what's in which candle, meaning it's a true surprise to the giver, too.)

Created from 100% natural plant waxes, with truly sublime fragrances, they're a great deal – and truly, the perfect present for someone who loves a) surprises, b) perfume, c) candles, d) jewellery.
