Erborian Lip Trio

Actually, this isn’t a trio – but it is a three-step regime for lips. Whaaaaat….???, we hear you chorus.

But stay with us because this regime properly makes history of flaky, dry winter lips. It’s from the Korean skincare line Erborian (owned by L’Occitane, testament to its naturalness, NB), and here’s the deal.

Step One – 7 Herbs Scrub (deliciously fresh-scented, like the whole 7 Herbs range of which we’re rather fond) is massaged into lips to buff them gently smooth with sugar crystals, leaving them nicely nourished. (Don’t forget the feathering-prone area around the lips, too.)

Step Two – this is a lip mask. Yes, a MASK – though if applied in a light layer it also doubles as a fabulous balm. Camellia for Lips should be smoothed on in a rich, thick layer and left for as long as you can, but at least 10 minutes. (It’ll slowly be absorbed, and any excess smoothed away.) We like to use it when we’re relaxing beneath a face mask.

Step Three – Duoudoune for Lips is your anti-winter lip ‘guard’: a featherweight yet highly shielding balm which works its nurturing magic on even the driest lips.

Although there’s no chance yours will be, if you do as the Koreans do and make this part of your love-your-lips ritual.
