Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Replenishing Cleansing Oil

Better late than never with beauty reviews, sometimes. For whatever reason, our sample of this didn't reach us at time of launch – but we'd like to make up for lost time, because this is make-up-melting magic. It's really fantastic, actually, if you do wear quite a bit of make-up: simply smooth into skin, massage well (we reckon at least a minute, Elizabeth Arden recommend at least 15 seconds). Then add a little water to emulsify, and you can either swoosh it away - taking every last speck of gunk with it – or (our preference) use a muslin cloth or a wet facecloth for a jolly good swish.

The blend of botanical oils (apricot, safflower and olive), is packed with skin-friendly omega 3-6-9s, along with vitamin E. And while it's an oil, it's not 'heavy', and really does rinse clean away, leaving behind no trace of oiliness, so all skintypes can use it – even oily ones. (Counterintuitive, but trust us here.) It does, however, leave skin feeling soft and nourished.

If you've never tried a cleansing oil – and there are more and more about – then you need to find out what all the fuss about. And this is a really, really good place to start.
