e.l.f. Studio Eyeshadow Palettes
We've long been fans of the ultra-affordable e.l.f. Studio range – which is short for Eyes, Lips, Face, BTW. It offers darned good value. But frustratingly, it hasn't been available in store, only via their own website. Savvily, Superdrug just changed that, rolling out the e.l.f. range to stores across the UK. The prices start at just £3 for the Instant Brow Pencil – and at £12.50, this palette's almost (but not quite) the most expensive product in the range.
Yes, e.l.f.'s shadow selection is an echo of Another Very Famous Eyeshadow Palette, for sure. But what's also certain is that it's a total beauty steal, with a complete eyeshadow wardrobe in one palette.
Actually, you've several palettes to choose from. We'd recommend the 'Little Black Dress' option – which is the Need it Nude Eyeshadow Palette, ranging from pale neutrals for lids and brow-bone through to deep, dark tones for creating the smokiest of eyes, with some shimmery shades. (Fact: we do like a touch of shimmer around the eye to 'wake it up' – although never on the crease, of course.)
The Rose Gold palette is also fantastic – and great for shading and highlighting as well as adding definition. Then there's the Mad for Matt palette, if you prefer your shadows without even a whisper of gleam.
Oh, go on: just get yourself to a Superdrug and make up your own mind – but whichever you go for, we know you'll enjoy the surprisingly smooth textures and blendability of these shadows.
And you may never need to go shadow-shopping again.
