Diorific Splendor Collection

So many gorgeous products… Where do we start? Splendor is a collection of make-up lust objects that anyone would be happy to receive as a gift. But which we’re keeping for ourselves…! Flashed with gold and Champagne tones, the palette of tones includes garnets, scarlets and fuchsia pink (we’re keener on the first two than the latter) – and is generally divine. We’re rather hoping all of the following make it into the permanent collection – they certainly belong there.

Diorific Vernis/£20.50. Gorgeous, shimmering, glimmering shades for nails (see below) – of which our favourite is actually the ‘broken mirror’ top coat, 899 Cosmic, which adds gorgeous flecks of gold to any nail shade. (All of the shades are pretty glorious, though, as you can see above.)

Diorific Matte Fluid Lip & Cheek Colour/£27.50. We’re not so keen on this for lips – but cheeks? Fabulous: a dot or two of this creaminess blended with a finger into cheeks is incredibly becoming, morphing from a cream to a subtle veil of powder. Some shades are better than others if you want to avoid Widow Twankey-ness: 001 Pleasure is the prettiest, most flattering rose-pink.

Diorific Splendor Illuminating Pressed Powder/£50. Like a golden highlighter, perfect for bringing touches of light to the brow-bone or bridge of the nose (when dabbed with a finger), or whisked over décolletage, shoulders and forearms.

Altogether, aptly, splendiferous.
