Clinique Sweet Pots Sugar Scrub + Lip Balm

We admit: we’d break all our own rules and buy these for the packaging alone. Luckily, happily, what’s inside this macaroon-esque design (quite a departure for Clinique) is worth the splurge anyway.

It’s a double-duty pot: on one side, a January-perfect sugar scrub, to condition and exfoliate lips via a combo of shea butter, jojoba/grapeseed/avocado oils and beet sugar grains.

On the other, a gorgeous tinted lip balm with aloe, coconut oil, murumuru seed and shea butters, veiling lips in a sheer tint inspired by macaroon flavours: Candied Cassis (our favourite), Red Velvet, Pink Framboise, Sweet Rose (the most universally flattering, we think) and Orange Blossom. There’s also a limited edition Citron Bleu.

Maybe the only macaroons you’ll be letting anywhere near your lips, in January…?
