Clinique Moisture Surge Melting Mask Balm

Will the central heating go back on this month? Will we be able to stall till November, as many of us did last year (rejoicing over the lower fuel bills!)? Well, whenever it’s time to turn up the thermostat, that’s the moment this little tub of Clinique wonder will come into its own.

A rich, nourishing, hypoallergenic balm, it’s a quick dry-skin fix which you can use wherever skin’s flaky (including iips, of course). Usual moisturiser not doing its job, in places? Just smooth an extra touch of this fragrance-free silky balm wherever you’ve a problem; its triple blend of apricot oil, sunflower seed oil and macadamia oil works as a great ‘barrier’, leaving skin more supple and smooth.

Clinique tell us it can also be slathered on generously as a 10-minute mask, or even left on overnight. Our thoughts on that? This isn’t the cheapest balm out there, and you’d get through it pretty quickly by following that advice.

But aside from that? A great spot-targeter for dry zones. And one we really, really hope we’re not going to need quite yet!
