Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Blush

Just fabuleux, this new collection (which has the lovely Lily-Rose Depp, above, starring in its campaign).

The shades are by Chanel’s exciting new in-house make-up pro, Lucia Pica – who hasn’t put a foot wrong yet, in our book.

Our handbags contain quite the stash of Chanel make-up – but we’ve definitely made room for this collection.

The Rouge Coco Lip Blush itself, though, is truly a fab find. It’s a tint rather than a gloss, with a silky, gel-like texture that melts into skin. A dab mid-afternoon is the most fantastic face-waker (Teasing Pink is best for this, we’re finding). It also delivers that great veil of colour to lips, and is definitely a new fave.

The Rouge Coco Stylo, meanwhile, is also fantastic – intense, pigmented colour, but in a wonderfully balm-like, comfy, lip-friendly finish. Sort of the lipstick equivalent of designer trainers. Jo especially likes the deep cherry Framboise Sensuelle, which does indeed glide on with a raspberry tone, despite appearing quite red in the tube. A little of this goes a really long way, and looks super-natural in a bitten-lip way. There are new shades of Rouge Coco Shine and the original Rouge Coco, too.

We’re not 100% sure why the whole collection’s been named ‘Rouge Coco Lip Blush’ – because it’s got some great nail shades in there, too. (Jo is sporting the most wonderfully vibrant Exquisite Pink polish on her toes, right now.)

Lots of cheery-uppy treats, here, though, all round. In fact, the whole collection’s making us feel very spring-like, actually. (And about flipping time too.)
