Chanel Le Rouge Crayon de Couleur

Yes, we know there are lip crayons out there. Chubby ones, skinny ones – richly-pigmented or sheer. Lots and lots and lots of them.

But this is definitely our favourite yet (and it's not because of the 'double-C' logo, promise).

It's the rich pigments in Chanel Le Rouge Crayon de Couleur – combined with a really lip-friendly, moisturising texture – which have hooked us. Unsurprisingly, being Chanel, there's also an incredible shade range: from the sock-it-to-you Rouge Corail (coral red) through to pillbox Rouge (which is the limited edition in the collection), via some suits-all-skintypes roses and one slightly scary fuchsia. (Well, scary to us – but not some of our younger friends.)

They're super-hydrating – yet leave behind a really, really good stain. Layer up for deeper coverage (a couple of coats gives a really strong lip look).

You might want to upgrade your pencil case to give these the swanky home they deserve, meanwhile.
