Chanel La Crème Main

Perhaps unsurprisingly, this has (as intended by Chanel) gone straight into the handbag. They’ve designed this almost egg-shaped, lightweight tube to go everywhere with us – and we don’t need any persuading whatsoever. After washing your hands on-the-go, simply remove the lid from the smooth white ‘pebble’, squeeze – and that activates a system which delivers a perfect, single dose. (Can’t tell you how sensorially satisfying the whole process feels.)

Chanel La Crème Main feels like velvet, and smells like heaven – thanks to rose wax and skin-brightening iris pallida, grown and extracted at Chanel’s gardens in Grasse, alongside shea butter, hyaluronic acid and glycerine. And – ticking another important box – the formula sinks in super-fast, leaving hands plumped (while also, we’re told, strengthening nails and softening cuticles).

Just don't blame us if you get a little OCD about hand-washing, from here on in – just so you can use it again.
