Burberry Skin Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base

Like all beauty editors, we really are spoilt for choice when it comes to cosmetics.  So if we choose to apply a product every day, you can be certain it’s pretty damn good. This illuminating primer is a case in point:  Sarah has been inseparable from it since it plopped through her door a few months ago.  Word has it that runway make-up artists also love the feather-light fluid, which hydrates the moment you stroke it on.  (But do use it over moisturiser first thing, it won’t do that job.)

As well as giving a real glow – like inner highlighting – due to the light-reflecting pearls it contains, it is a fab base for foundation, although you can use it on its own for perfect nude skin (it slightly blurs imperfections).  We use it under foundation, blended into eye shadow for a transparent non-shimmery wash, and smoothed onto cheekbones, Cupid’s bow and under brows.
