Oh, this is just lovely. We’re massive fans of Bramley. (Read our review of the original bodycare here, and founder Chloe Luxton’s 7 Secrets of Wellbeing here, and the Bath & Shower Oils here. Now you know we’re not kidding about being fans!)

Now, they’ve added a fab exfoliator to the line-up, with an ultra-refreshing scent of sweet orange, spearmint and fennel. It’s more of an exfoliating body wash than an oil-based scrub, but very skin-brightening.

The buffing agent is walnut shell powder, but what we’ve noticed lately is that these shell ingredients – which we used to find too harsh – are now super-pulverised. So they don’t leave such a gritty layer if you use them in the bath, and they’re that bit kinder to skin.

It’s got a wonderful sense-awakening scent – and a couple of weeks’ use, followed by lavish lashings of body butter or cream, will give you a head start on the bare-skin season.

We are reliably informed there will be one.

Two sizes – and the 100 ml is a jolly reasonable introduction, as well as being suitcase-friendlier.
